We are accepting new patients!
What should I expect at my first appointment?
-
If you would like us to have your previous dental records on file, please give the practice where they were obtained a call to request them be sent to our email address (info@bostiandental.com). Previous radiographs are most helpful to us!
-
You will be asked to fill out new patient forms using a link sent to your email address. If you need help filling out the forms or are unable to do so please give us a call! It is very helpful to Dr. Bostian and staff when preparing for your visit.
-
Although our practice is not contracted with any dental insurance company, we will file your dental claims as a courtesy. It is most helpful if you have your dental card and are able to forward a picture of the front and back to our email address (info@bostiandental.com) prior to your first appointment.

For every new patient Dr. Bostian performs a comprehensive exam. The purpose of this exam is to go over your dental history, assess your current dental health, make treatment recommendations, and learn what your goals and concerns are as one of our patients. Unless you have recently had them taken at another practice and have them forwarded, we will obtain radiographs in order to deliver the best patientcare possible. Dr. Bostian will perform an oral cancer screening, examine your teeth, gums, bite, and joints. We may take an iTERO scan to create digital models of your teeth, this helps us show you what we see during our exam!

At your first dental cleaning appointment, our team will ensure you feel comfortable and welcomed. The hygienist will start by taking a few moments to update your health history and discuss any dental concerns. Next, they will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth and gums to identify any potential issues. Using specialized tools, we’ll carefully remove plaque and tartar buildup, followed by polishing your teeth to leave them feeling fresh and smooth. Finally, we’ll provide personalized tips for maintaining your oral health at home and discuss the importance of regular cleanings for a healthy smile. Your journey to optimal dental health starts here!
